RACHEL OSTROW (b. 1977) is a Brooklyn-based painter and printmaker. Ostrow’s paintings use movement and light to explore space and form, and skirt the line between abstraction and representation. Although her works are ambiguous, they feel recognizable, familiar, and/or iconic. By hinting at the identifiable yet remaining elusive, the works use abstraction to be suggestive and to engage the viewer’s imagination. Ostrow’s process is physical, improvisational, and playful; she paints with a squeegee, and unearths images by pushing around layers of transparent paint.
Ostrow earned a B.A. in fine arts from Wesleyan University, a post-baccalaureate degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and an M.F.A. in painting from Hunter College. She has had solo exhibitions at 42 Social Club (Lyme, CT), Sunday Takeout (Brooklyn, NY), The Kenan Center (Lockport, NY), John Davis Gallery, (Hudson, NY), Saffron (Brooklyn, NY), Todojunto Gallery (Barcelona, Spain), and The Plant (Buffalo, NY). Ostrow has also participated in group exhibitions in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Montreal, Dublin, Joshua Tree, and Great Barrington.

Returns
The inventory is constantly changing and we do not fully manage it because multiple stakeholders are involved, including our factory and warehouse. Stock levels can fluctuate at any given time. Be aware that it's possible that your order will become unavailable even after you have placed the order.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have gone in the past since you purchased, unfortunately we can't offer you a return or exchange.
In order to be eligible for a refund the product must be unopened and in the same condition as you received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging.
